Olivia and company

I was told that I needed to update my blog, so here you go. This post is basically all pictures, but then isn’t that why you are all checking this anyway? Here are some recent pictures, not really in any particular order…

This was taken when Olivia was a week and one day old, you gotta love those naked babies!

 

 

Here is a random one that Jake took with his phone one afternoon after I had just finished feeding her

 

 

Here is one our babysitter took with her camera when she came over to see Olivia for the first time. (Her camera date is wrong because it was actually the 23rd when Olivia was one week old)

 

 

This is our babysitter holding her, and I thought it was such a sweet picture of Olivia that I just had to post it. We love our babysitter, she is the greatest!

 

 

Olivia much prefers to sleep on her side, or on her belly laying on top of someone as opposed to on her back.  One night after Jake finished burping her he laid her on the bed next to him and she snuggled under the burp cloth.

 

 

Jake has been a really great dad in helping with Olivia and taking over a lot of the time with Ethan. Whenever I get done feeding her he is always willing to burp her and change diapers. I usually let him sleep through the middle of the night feedings though, because I figure there is no point in both of us being awake when one of us is going to have to have the energy to keep up with Ethan the next day.

 

 

Ethan has been amazingly wonderful with Olivia. I was hoping that he would be okay with her coming home and not be too jealous but it has been better than I ever expected. If she cries he is right there to give her a pacifier, or he comes to tell me that she is hungry. Then when I get done feeding her he wants to hold her and help burp her. When she is asleep on our bed he hops up and snuggles next to her and gives her kisses. In this picture I had just finished changing Olivia’s diaper when the phone rang so I laid her on Ethan’s bed and he said he would lay by her so she didn’t roll off. The call ended up being a wrong number and when I walked back in this is what I found. Ethan was laying there talking to Olivia but I couldn’t here what he was saying although it looked like she was actually laughing at him. They are so cute together!
